Privacy Policy

attune is operated by Attune Official LLC ("attune", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the attune mobile app and website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. Please read this policy carefully to understand how we handle your personal data.

1. Who we are

Attune Official LLC. Contact us anytime at contact@attuneofficial.com.

2. Data we collect

Account data

When you create an attune account we collect:

Message content you type into attune

attune turns a message you might send to another person into a more attuned version of itself. To do this, the text you submit is sent in real time to our AI processing provider (see "Third parties" below). For the core "attune" feature, your input and the attuned output are not persisted to our database after the response is returned to your device.

If you use the in-app get a read feature, the conversation thread (your messages and the assistant's replies) is stored on our servers so the thread can resume across sessions. You can delete your account at any time to remove this history.

Subscription data

When you purchase an attune subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store processes the payment. We never see your card details. The store sends us a subscription identifier and lifecycle events (started, renewed, expired, cancelled) so we can grant or revoke access. We store the subscription identifier, plan, status, and period dates linked to your attune user id.

Technical data

Our servers automatically receive standard request metadata — IP address, user-agent, timestamps — in server logs. These logs are retained for a short window for security, rate-limiting, and debugging, then rotated out.

Phone number (launch access)

If you submit your phone number on our launch-access page, we store it to send you a one-time SMS containing your beta link and to record your priority-waitlist status. We collect this number only with your explicit consent (an unchecked checkbox you tick before submitting), and we log the time, IP address, and user-agent of that consent. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to delete your number by emailing contact@attuneofficial.com. We retain launch-access phone numbers only for as long as needed to run the beta launch and delete them afterward unless you have created an account.

SMS consent and mobile number privacy. We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent records to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share this information with our SMS delivery provider, wireless carriers, and related service providers only as needed to deliver the text message you requested, manage STOP/HELP replies, prevent abuse, comply with law, or operate the service.

What we do not collect

3. Why we use this data

4. Third parties we share data with

Anthropic (AI processing)

The text you submit to attune is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the attuned response. Anthropic processes the request and returns a response. We do not send your name, email, or any account identifier alongside the message. See Anthropic's policy at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

Apple App Store / Google Play (subscriptions)

Subscription purchases are handled natively by the store you bought through. The store already has your billing information; we receive only the subscription lifecycle events described above.

Email delivery (Mailchimp Transactional)

Transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing) are delivered through Mailchimp Transactional (Mandrill). Your email address is shared with them for the sole purpose of delivering that email.

SMS delivery provider (Mailchimp Transactional)

If you request launch access, we share your mobile phone number and SMS consent record with our SMS delivery provider, Mailchimp Transactional (Mandrill), solely to send the one-time SMS containing your beta link, process STOP/HELP replies, and maintain messaging compliance. We do not authorize the SMS provider to use your mobile number for its own marketing.

Hosting

attune is hosted on Laravel Cloud infrastructure. Data is stored in a managed database located in the United States.

5. Data retention

6. Your rights

You can request, correct, or delete your personal data at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or similar laws — including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Children

attune is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the account.

8. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. Access tokens are revocable from inside the app (Settings → Log out) and on account deletion.

9. International transfers

Our servers and the third parties listed above operate primarily in the United States. If you use attune from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the "Effective" date above and, where practical, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of attune after a change means you accept the updated policy.
